Abstract

Annotation: This article provides a general overview of hierarchical sentence analysis and its role in English language teaching. It discusses the basic theoretical background of sentence hierarchy in linguistics and explains how sentences are structured through different levels of grammatical organization. The study focuses on the importance of understanding sentence structure as an essential part of language learning and highlights its relevance for developing overall linguistic competence. In addition, the article briefly considers the pedagogical value of hierarchical sentence analysis in improving students’ understanding of English grammar. It shows that this approach can help learners better recognize sentence patterns and improve their ability to use English more accurately in both written and spoken communication.
